Canam Consultants is a well-known study-abroad education consultancy helping students navigate overseas admissions, scholarships, visas, and more. Their online presence needed to better match the value they deliver: clarity, trust, and personalized support.
The Challenge

The site had many services, pages, and content, but users often felt overwhelmed when choosing a study destination or service.

Key actions like “Profile Assessment”, “Scholarship Guidance” etc., were buried or not highlighted strongly, making conversion harder.

Navigation and flows weren’t optimized: students had difficulty comparing countries or programs.

On mobile especially, users dropped off early—pages loaded slowly or had too much text without visual hierarchy.
Our Approach
Competitor Analysis
We began by analyzing 3-5 leading education consultancy sites globally. We looked at how they:

Structure the user journey from interest → research → decision → application

Use design and layout to manage content overload
Findings: top competitors typically use clean, modular sections, strong visuals, simple comparisons (e.g. country vs cost vs duration), plenty of micro-interactions to help with onboarding.
Heatmap & User Behavior Analysis
We set up heatmaps and user session recordings to see what users click, scroll, or ignore. Key insights:

Many visitors scrolled right past long text blocks (especially service descriptions), rarely clicking “Read More.”

Most clicks and taps were happening on “Study in USA / UK / Australia” country cards, but a lot of drop off when they reached “compare programs.”

The enquiry form or “Free Profile Assessment” calls-to-action (CTAs) were not always in view, especially on mobile, or were overshadowed by other content.
