Social Media Marketing Specialist

Role Description

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective social media strategies, managing and growing our social media presence, and creating engaging content across various platforms. You’ll collaborate with the design and communications team to optimize engagement, strengthen brand awareness, and ensure consistent messaging across all digital channels.

What You Will Do

Content Creation & Scheduling

  1. Support the development of localized content calendars across all social platforms.

  2. Create engaging, platform-appropriate content in English.

  3. Stay responsive to trending topics, viral moments, and real-time opportunities to boost visibility.

Audience Growth & Community Engagement

  1. Execute content strategies that drive audience growth, engagement, and retention.

  2. Manage daily community interactions and leverage trend-jacking to enhance relevance and reach.

Campaign Execution

  1. Plan and manage social media campaigns, influencer collaborations, and event coverage.

  2. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery of posts and creative assets.

  3. Continuously optimize campaigns for better performance and audience response.

Performance Monitoring, Analytics & Reporting

  1. Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics, including engagement, reach, and sentiment.

  2. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve content effectiveness.

  3. Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to identify opportunities for growth.

Innovation & Platform Expertise

  1. Stay updated on platform updates, algorithm changes, and new formats across social media channels.

  2. Experiment with new tools, creative approaches, and technologies to elevate content performance and impact.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum 1 year of experience in Social Media Marketing or Social Media Optimization (SMO).

  2. Strong communication, copywriting, and content strategy skills.

  3. Proficient in writing and creating content for multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).

  4. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  5. Ability to collaborate effectively within a creative, fast-paced team.
